Questions, answered
Are the watches authentic?
We inspect every watch before it’s listed and never sell replicas or “homage” watches that copy other brands’ logos. If a watch ever turns out not to be what we described, you get a full refund, shipping included.
What do the condition grades mean?
New, Unworn, Excellent, Very Good, Good and Refurbished, each defined in plain words on our grading page. Grades describe looks only: every watch runs and keeps time within its maker’s spec.
Are the photos of the actual watch?
Always. Six photos of the exact watch you’ll get, taken the same way every time. Every flaw is numbered on the photo that shows it.
How do I know it will fit?
Set your wrist size once (top of any page) and every listing tells you whether it fits, based on lug to lug, the measurement that matters most. See the size guide.
How does shipping work?
Watches ship in 1–2 business days, tracked and insured. Shipping is $12, free on orders over $250, and orders over $300 need a signature. US only for now.
Can I return a watch?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, unworn since it arrived and with the numbered security tag still attached. See shipping and returns.
Do watches come with a warranty?
Pre-owned watches don’t carry the maker’s warranty, and we don’t add our own yet. Instead, we time mechanical watches and publish the results, and you have a return window.
Why is the serial number hidden in the photos?
So it can’t be copied onto fake paperwork. We record every serial privately and use it to confirm a returned watch is the one we sent.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled by Stripe: cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your card number.
Do you buy watches or take trade-ins?
Not yet. Join the list at the bottom of the page and we’ll tell you when we do.
